Your attendees have seen the shows. What they haven’t had is a mind reader standing in their group at the sponsor reception, telling one of them what he’s thinking. I’m a Magic Castle mentalist based in Los Angeles, and I come to Las Vegas for convention receptions, hospitality suites, client dinners and private parties. No stage, no AV, nothing to add to the run of show.
The show floor is where people work. The receptions, suites and dinners around it are where they actually talk, and those are the rooms I’m built for. I go from group to group during the reception, and by the second drink your prospects are pulling colleagues over to see what just happened.
If you need people to come up to the suite and stay long enough for a real conversation, I give them a reason to do both.
The welcome reception sets the tone for the whole trip. Partners don’t know anyone and everyone’s tired from the flight. A few minutes of mind reading in small groups loosens a room faster than the open bar, and the two work well together.
Big birthdays in a rented house, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and wedding cocktail hours. Everything I do is for adults, it’s clean, and nobody gets embarrassed.
A ticketed show. There are people in this town who do that far better than I would, and if you need a headliner for a general session I’ll tell you so.
Anywhere guests stand around with a drink before dinner works. These are the main meeting and event properties.
These are here for reference. I’m an independent performer and I’m not affiliated with any of them.
It’s an hour in the air or about four on the 15. I come in the day of the event with plenty of margin, and the travel is built into the flat price I give you, so there’s no separate line for it. For late nights I stay over.
No. Las Vegas has plenty of shows and I’m not competing with them. I work private events: I move through your reception or hospitality suite and read minds for a few guests at a time. There’s no stage, no seating and nothing for your AV team to do.
At the things around the show floor. Sponsor receptions, client dinners, hospitality suites and the evening your team hosts at a restaurant off the Strip. Anywhere the point is conversation, I give people something to talk about.
Yes. Cocktail hour is the slot, while the two of you are off with the photographer. More on weddings.
Yes, and the material changes each night so people who saw me at the welcome reception see something new at the closing dinner.
Send the dates, the venue and a rough headcount. I’ll call, usually within a day, with what I’d suggest and a flat price that includes getting there.
Sets start at $700.
